Irish Psoriasis Sufferers to Take to the Catwalk
Wow. I’m kinda blown away by this – brave volunteers from the Psoriasis Association of Ireland are going to take part in a fashion show where they will bare their skin on the catwalk.
The show, ‘Dare to Reveal’ will raise funds for the charity, and the participating volunteers will be able to show off their style, and their skin.
One of the show’s organizers, Theresa Tierney-Bugler says:
We have lived with psoriasis most of our lives and we are going to stop covering it up and hiding…
She also says it’s never been done before – and I certainly have never heard of anything like it. I have to wonder, if I was asked to be a part of it, could I ‘dare to reveal’?
Either way – I’m very proud of the people that are doing it!
